Our story
I was a changed person the day I became a mother. I wanted the best for my child, I wanted them to succeed in this world and hereafter. I started to explore the options to teach them about Islam, to instill the love of Allah in them and make them love the sunnah.
Then I realized this sad reality, “Many Islamic programs have started for Muslim children yet we are not getting the results we require”
WHY? I looked for the answer
“We have made Islam boring for our kids”.
Kids have so much fun in their day schools. They enjoy using social media, playing games and watching movies. The Seerah and Quran class begin to feel boring to them.
The day I realized that I knew I had to do something.
So, I created the Sunnah Camp for my children and their friends.
I GOT AMAZING RESULTS! Alhamdulillah.
All they needed was a good teacher.
That was the day Sunnahcamp was born, and Alhumdulillah after more than 20 years it is still going strong. We have results to prove.
This all happened because parents trusted us and stayed with our team of talented, experienced teachers.
Today we can not thank Allah enough for making us the reason for helping hundreds of young Muslim children proudly follow the way of the Quran and the Sunnah. Showing extreme respect and love to their parents and taking the responsibility of the leadership of the Ummah on their young yet strong shoulders
They now have fun while learning Tajweed and Tafseer. They love applying the Sunnah and making it part of their daily lives. Alhamdulillah now their favourite heroes are the Sahabah - not fake movie characters.
No parent likes to register their children to countless programs only to find their teen doesn’t care enough.
I’ve designed Sunnah Camps to be all about action, implementation, and results.
How do I do it?
The Muslim Hero Training Program is already filled with fun activities, accountability, support and so much more that most programs don’t have.
But we’re including something that you will not find in most programs.
Sunnah Camps also includes free workshops for your child to enjoy! There are dua workshops, Tahara workshops, goal-setting workshops, and time management workshops.
Your child will learn how to create their six dream duas, learn how to set goals to improve their Iman, and how to manage their time between school, expanding knowledge on Islam, and so much more.
And guess what?!
These workshops are live on zoom! Students will have the ability to ask questions to their instructor live and will complete all activities and assignments alongside their fellow peers and Sunnah Camp friends.
What Other Teens Saying
Sunnah Camps has changed my life.
It's a way to practice leadership and build confidence. We learn to be leaders with antui Zakia. Her enthusiasm to make us learn inspires us to be our best selves.
To make ALLAH SWT happy and follow in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions.
Fatima Ahmed
Jazakhallah
Thank you sister Zakia for providing such a nice platform for these talented kids to present themselves and we can gain so much knowledge from these kids.
Mashallah.
Keep up the good work!
